In order to draw a conclusion , these are the important ques to ask to urself ...

4. how did i arrive at the conclusion ?

5. what detail did i refer to ?

PRESENT PERFECT TENSE vs PAST PERFECT TENSE !

Present Perfect Tense

J to show an action took place in the past. The time of the action is unknown.

E.g : The student has received a favourable reply from the science boarding school.

J to show an action which started in the past, but its effect has continued until the present and probably continue to the future.

E.g : The consultant has trained many successful businessmen.

J repeated actions in the past.

E.g : I have regularly participated in the Malaysian Halal Exhibition for the past five years.

Past Perfect Tense

F past perfect tense is used to show a past action which occurred before another past action.

E.g : The society had prepared the report before the student left for a academic seminar.

        After the manager had read the report, the secretary walked into his room.

CONJUCTION

1.          Conjunctions connect words or groups of words.
2.         Unlike prepositions, conjunctions don’t have objects.  Rather, they serve as a way to show     a   relationship between two words.

Correlative Conjunction  

Similar to coordinating conjunctions in that they connect the same type of words, but work in pairs.

a.    both…and

b.    either/neither….or

c.    not only…..but also

d.    whether.....or

Subordinating Conjunction

Connect things which are not equal. One is less important (subordinate) than the other.

E.g:

1 - Because it rained all day, our basement filled up with water.

2 - did the planning after he made reservations. 

PREPOSITION

o  Preposition are a class of words that indicate relationships between nouns, pronouns and other words in a sentence.

o   They usually located before a noun.

TYPES OF PREPOSITION

1)Simple Prepositions

     Simple prepositions are single word prepositions.

     e.g : The book is on the table. 

2) Compound Prepositions

Compound prepositions are more than one word such as in between, because of, in front of and on behalf of.

      e.g : The book is in front of the clock.

ADVERB

1) Adverbs are used to describe verbs. Generally, adverbs tell :

Ø                   tell how an action takes place:

·         quickly, slowly, lazily, higher, lower, nicely, patiently

Ø               describe when something happens:

·         soon, yesterday, now, today, always, never often

Ø               describe where something happens:

·         here, there, inside, outside, around, through, beneath

2)Adverbs are also used to describe adjectives :

·         That ice cream is extremely delicious

·         The politician’s speech was terribly obnoxious

3)The other use of adverbs is to describe another adverbs

·         The guards checks our student cards meticulously carefully

·         We jumped frantically happily because the class was cancelled

todayy we were given a group task on making an essay usingg quick writingg that we had learnt . everyone in a group had to continue wrote the essay to get a complete essay . In this activityy , we can upgrade our creativityy and expand our mind in making an essay .

OVERALL this activityy was amazingg !

yeahh todayy my group and i were given a title about

"Is Harimau Malaya would be Qualified 

Into 2014 world Cup ? "    

to debate . Our group had to 

fight against Darwina's group . Our group representative are Mel and Afiq . 

Eveythingg went smoothlyy although there were some unstatisfied facts

 , but we all are profesional .

today we learnt about ARTICLE and DETERMINERS . 

ARTICLE .

-A ,an     - indefinite, used before singular countable nouns .

-The       - definite , used before both singular and plural nouns , and before both countable  

                and uncountable nouns .

DETERMINERS .

- are used to measure uncountable nouns .

- Many , much , little , several .

For today activity , Miss Zu passed to us a box , then she played a song from Linkin Park . Then she paused the song , and the person who hold the box at that time , need to answer the fill in the blank question about ARTICLE and DETERMINERS .

whats up with that angryy face ?! it is because our class had been 

scolded by Miss Zu because we failed her

expectation on doing an essay . Actually that was our fault too because we were

not taking seriously what sheasked us to do . The presentation were so bad and so many silly mistake that we've made . Only Aminuddin's group presentation got a praise from Miss Zu while other were not so lucky enough . At the time she's getting angry , 

our face were just like this ....

for this task , Afiq and I were colaborated together and need to act based on the theme

which is "say goodbye" . we were played a role as EMPEROR of CHINA for me , 

and KING of ENGLAND for Afiq .

The Parts of the
Introductory Paragraph

The Hook - Designed to grab attention immediately and give some indication about the essay’s topic .

                          1. Personal examples

                              3. Facts or statistics

                              4. Rhetorical questions

                              5. Current events

                              6. Contrast to the thesis statement

                              7. Definition

The Transition - Moves the reader from the hook to the driving force of the essay .

The Thesis - Makes the contract with the reader about what will be discussed without a 

announcement.

** We were given in a group to make an introduction paragraph based on the hook given . 

and my group need to make an intro paragraph about METROPOLITAN 

based on the hook of current events .

WEDNESDAY ; DSP .

  PRONOUN 

A pronoun is a word that takes the place of one or more nouns .  

Personal pronoun -(exp he,they,we,it and i at the begining)

Posessive Pronouns - make ourself as it(exp it, mine)

Interogative Pronouns - with "wh" form question (who,how)

Indefinite Pronouns - (exp, each,one many few) 

Demonstrative Pronouns - (that,these)>>Pointing out things   

Other Pronouns - (exp all: both,either,nor,neigther,little,less,fewer)

At the last of the class , Miss Zuuu asked us to make a huge circle . 

Boys out and the girls inside of the boy's circle and facing the boys . 

Then we had to talk to each other by using the correct pronouns . 

We had to talk about ourself or anything we wanted as long we used the pronoun in 

the talk . Each of us were given 30 second to talk before change our 

partner by the right the girls move to the left .

It is an exciting activity and i loved it . :)

1st Week of JUNE !

NOUN ohh NOUN !

** yess , this week we learnt about noun . what is noun ?! Noun is a word that are used to name an animal , person , idea , place or things .  nouns are divided into two groups.there are plural and singular.plural for thing that in  lot quantities or something abstract, while singular is for things that just one.

** the next task that been given to us is a group task which we were divided into 6 group and in a group consisting 6 members which are needed to act from a scene from P Ramlee's movies . my group members are FAUZAN , IZAN IZAZUL , MEL , ANIS , IRA , and ME . our group chosen a scene in "PENDEKAR BUJANG LAPOK" . 

**overall , this activityy were so excitingg and make my mind think creativelyy . i love this activityy and i hope in the future there will be manyy activities like this . :D

lets guessingg !

today class is at I309 which is at block ILMUAN n it is located at the 3rd floor !!    yesterdayy , we were given a task to find a pair and than introduce our pairs to other . 

but to make this interestingg , we had to give 3 facts and 1 of the 3 must be FALSE . and the other pair need to guess which fact is the false one . 

For this task , Haziq and I were correlated . we were the second pairs for this task . honestlyy we were little bit nervous because both of us are not veryy know each other veryy well . but we still kept it up . and not to be proud laa , 

we got 3 correct in guessingg other pairs false fact . 

**the purpose for this task is to test our listeningg and guessing skills that can be use in examination and also in life :D

WHAT IS BEL 112 ?!

thats was the question that keeps playingg in my mind when im walkingg to the Dewan Sri Peria . ohh fr your information , DSP is located in Section C and between Baiduri and SAB . 

DSP is one big hall and my first thought is my class will be combined with other class because the hall was so hugeee !! 

but then , onlyy my class JBM1121A were placed there for BEL112 .

fyi , BEL 112 is stands for CONSOLIDING LANGUAGE SKILLS . and dont ask me whyy the shorthand for that is BEL 112 because honestlyy i also dont know whyy . haha ! 

our BEL lecturer is MISS ZURAIDAH bte SUMERY aka MISS ZU ! she is so fluent in speakingg in ENGLISH . and she is also veryy cheerful person and she loves to laugh , hehe :D

the first task that given to us is we need to do is create a blogg and a portfolio .
